Features

・Magnetic proximity sensors are sensors that are activated / deactivated in response to the changes in the intensity of magnetic field.
・Incorporating Hall IC, the models have polarity with the south-pole side as the standard sense zone.
・High-speed response(less than 5μ sec), good for speedometers and rotational speed meters.
・Higher sensitivity(wider operation distance to a target)and reduced size compared to typical sensors of a kind.
・Both the original alignment of the servo motor and overrun detection can be conducted with the double sensor.
・It is a reliable sensor that is less susceptible to interference caused by radiation noise.

Mechanism

A magnetic proximity sensor is a product that operates/stops according to changes in magnetic strength. Magnetic strength in space can be expressed by its direction and magnitude, but conventional sensors and reed switches detect magnetic fields regardless of the approaching direction. In the case of our products using Hall effect ICs, only the component in the vertical direction to the detection surface is picked up. For this reason, our magnetic proximity sensors have highly accurate operating characteristics.

The way to use double sensor

Model  "AH002-D"

Magnetic proximity sensors are compact and can be placed in close proximity, as there is no magnetic interaction between the sensors. Taking advantage of these advantages, the double sensor incorporates a sensor with two operating points in one case.
As it can perform both origin and overrun detection of the servo system, it contributes to downsizing the machine unit and reducing assembly costs.

・The circuit diagram must be observed to ensure a correct connection. A reverse connection and a short-circuiting output are strictly prohibited.
・When connecting an inductive load such as relay, be sure to use a freewheeling diode. (Some models already include a built-in freewheeling diode.)

・When installing a sensor, use the torque value designated for each sensor.

・When handling / using the product, do not apply an excessive tension to the cable connection part.
