Contactless touch switches

Features

• Long lasting, stable operation even under frequent use because of lack of physical contact.
• Capable of very high precision in repeatability of operating point.
• The configuration separating moving parts from sensing part enables environment resistance.
• Can be customized to a model of limited operational force.

Features

Mechanism

An external input pushing or pulling the probe moves the magnet back or forth, respectively. Sensing the magnet’s movements, the magnetic sensing circuit induces ON / OFF action and functions as a touch switch.

Since the sensor reacts at steep slopes of magnetic gradient, highly sensitive and precise repeatability is provided for operating points.

*By using cable options, conversion of output specifications, current amplification, and cable extension are possible.

・The circuit diagram must be observed to ensure a correct connection. A reverse connection and a short-circuiting output are strictly prohibited.
・When connecting an inductive load such as relay, be sure to use a freewheeling diode. (Some models already include a built-in freewheeling diode.)
・When installing a switch, use the torque value designated for each switch.
・When handling / using the product, do not apply an excessive tension to the cable connection part.
